Moon Ji-yoon's 6th anniversary, Cheese in the Trap's Sang-cheol

It has been six years since the passing of actor Go Moon-ji-yoon. He suddenly passed away on March 18, 2020, at the age of 36 due to acute sepsis. He had visited the hospital for symptoms of pharyngitis, but his condition rapidly worsened, leading to his transfer to the intensive care unit, where he ultimately never regained consciousness.

The entertainment industry was plunged into deep sorrow by the sudden sad news. Fellow actors Ha Jae-sook, Kim San-ho, Kim Jae-won, and Lee Ki-woo expressed their grief and longing for the deceased in their own ways.

Born in 1984, Moon Ji-yoon debuted in 2002 with the MBC drama 'Romance'. He went on to appear in numerous productions such as 'Delightful Girl Choon-Hyang', 'Iljimae', 'Queen Seondeok', 'May Queen', 'Cheese in the Trap', and 'Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo', establishing himself as a familiar face to the public.

He was particularly remembered for his role as Kim Sang-cheol, a senior student in the Business Administration department at Yonsei University, in the drama 'Cheese in the Trap'. He portrayed a character who was both annoying and realistic, leaving a deep impression on viewers.

The deceased's father expressed his grief over the sudden loss of his son through a handwritten letter, along with gratitude for the love his son received, hoping he would be remembered with good memories. He also expressed his thanks to the many people who accompanied him on his final journey despite the COVID-19 situation.
