Jang Hang-jun, Plastic Surgery Advertisement Offer

Director Jang Hang-jun, who became a "10 million viewer" director with the movie 'The Man Who Became King', is reportedly receiving unexpected love calls from the plastic surgery industry. Some plastic surgery clinics and beauty platforms are reportedly making offers for plastic surgery sponsorships and advertisements to Director Jang, likely hoping to leverage the high buzz generated by the movie's box office success for promotional benefits.

An industry insider stated, "The first surgery is more stable and shows clearer results than revision surgery, leading to greater promotional effects," adding that they are aware of advertising fee proposals in the tens of millions of won being offered.

Earlier, before the movie's release, Director Jang appeared on SBS Power FM's 'Bae Sung-jae's Ten' and made a humorous pledge, saying, "If we surpass 10 million viewers, I will change my phone number, my name, and get plastic surgery," adding, "No one will recognize me." This pledge garnered significant attention.

After the movie actually surpassed 10 million viewers, Director Jang reappeared on the same program and announced his intention to retract the pledge. Regarding the plastic surgery promise, he humorously replied, "If I were to do it, I'd want to redesign everything. Not just a remodel, but more like demolishing and starting over completely."

Instead, Director Jang plans to hold a coffee truck event on the 12th at the Seoul Shinmun Plaza in Jung-gu, Seoul, where he will distribute drinks to the audience and express his gratitude.
