Siren Episode 7: Baek Junbeom & Lee Suho Relationship

In the 7th episode of tvN's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Seiren', Han Seol-a (played by Park Min-young) and Cha Woo-seok (played by Wi Ha-joon) unveiled a tense development as they investigated the true nature of Baek Joon-beom (played by Kim Jung-hyun).

Han Seol-a and Cha Woo-seok began tracing the relationship between Baek Joon-beom and Lee Soo-ho (played by Kim Dong-jun), Han Seol-a's ex-boyfriend, based on the fact that Baek Joon-beom had done volunteer work with Lee Soo-ho in Syria. However, Lee Kwang-jin (played by Do Gyeom), the team leader of the relief organization who knew about their relationship, fell into a coma due to a traffic accident. This forced Han Seol-a and Cha Woo-seok to seek another way to prove the connection between Baek Joon-beom and Lee Soo-ho.

During this process, an anonymous package that arrived for Han Seol-a became a crucial clue. Inside the package were a bouquet of purple flowers, a symbol of her past love, a mobile phone containing a message from Lee Soo-ho, and a birthday card written with the left hand. Seeing this, Han Seol-a recalled Baek Joon-beom, who was left-handed, and her suspicion about their connection turned into certainty.

Han Seol-a informed Cha Woo-seok of this discovery, and Cha Woo-seok devised a plan to lure the real culprit. He took out a life insurance policy with Han Seol-a as the beneficiary, just as her past lovers had done. To persuade Han Seol-a, who feared losing someone again upon seeing the insurance certificate, Cha Woo-seok confessed his reasons for being so invested in the case, along with the story of his deceased younger sister.

Through this process, Han Seol-a and Cha Woo-seok built deep trust in each other due to their shared experience of failing to protect their families, lovers, and loved ones. Cha Woo-seok, worried about Han Seol-a, kissed her, and Han Seol-a responded, bringing them closer.
