In TV CHOSUN's drama 'Doctor Shin,' Shin Ju-shin (played by Jung Yi-chan) experienced a disconnect between reality and his emotions while uncomfortably cohabiting with Momo (played by Baek Seo-ra), who looked identical to his deceased love, Momo, but had the speech patterns and thoughts of her mother-in-law, Hyun Ran-hee (played by Song Ji-in) (Momo with Hyun Ran-hee's brain). Ultimately, Shin Ju-shin ended up living in the same house with Momo, who had his mother-in-law's brain.

Momo (with Hyun Ran-hee's brain) moved into Shin Ju-shin's house because she was having trouble fixing a leak. At Shin Ju-shin's home, Momo (with Hyun Ran-hee's brain) was overcome with strange emotions, constantly watching Shin Ju-shin's room, which raised questions.

Meanwhile, Paul Kim (played by Ji Young-san), who was searching for his daughter, discovered the name Kim Jin-ju at a nationwide independent youth support center through a private detective agency. Kim Jin-ju (played by Cheon Young-min) felt excited upon receiving a call that her biological father had appeared. Paul Kim met Kim Jin-ju and asked about her reasons for entering the orphanage, but unable to get a clear answer, he decided to proceed with a genetic test.

Kim Jin-ju hoped Paul Kim was her biological father, and Paul Kim hoped Kim Jin-ju was his biological daughter, but the genetic test results showed a mismatch in paternity probability, plunging both into despair.

Overwhelmed by despair, Kim Jin-ju drank alcohol and expressed her anger while looking at photos of Geum Ba-ra, Momo, and others on the wall. When she informed Geum Ba-ra of the genetic test mismatch over the phone, Kim Jin-ju revealed her intense emotions, calling Geum Ba-ra a "cold-hearted wench" and a "venomous snake."
