BTS Swim Wins Inkigayo #1 Trophy

The group BTS took first place on SBS's 'Inkigayo' in the last week of March. On the broadcast of 'Inkigayo' on the 29th, BTS's 'Swim', IVE's 'BAMBAM', and Kiki's '404 (New Era)' were nominated for first place.

On this day, BTS recorded first place with a total of 7245 points, while IVE took second place with 4218 points, and Kiki secured third place with 3542 points. BTS's score was calculated as 1000 points for albums (10%), 2000 points for SNS (20%), 0 points for pre-viewer voting (5%), 600 points for broadcast score (10%), 500 points for real-time voting (5%), and 3145 points for online music (50%).

As BTS did not appear on the broadcast, the trophy will be delivered at a later date.

Meanwhile, BTS released their fifth full album 'Arirang' on the 20th and are currently promoting as a full group after a hiatus of 3 years and 9 months. This album achieved first-week sales of 4,169,464 copies, setting a new personal record for the team.

The title track 'Swim' is achieving strong results overseas, ranking second on the UK Official Singles Chart Top 100, first on Apple Music Global Streaming, and first on Spotify's Daily Top Songs Global. Furthermore, it is projected to take first place on the 'Billboard 200' pre-chart for the April 4th date.
