Lee Young-ja, Confesses Guilt Over Late Choi Jin-sil

Comedian Lee Young-ja confessed her feelings about losing her close friend, the late Choi Jin-sil. Lee Young-ja appeared on SBS's 'Good Morning' and spoke honestly about the misunderstandings surrounding her.

Lee Young-ja brought up the late Choi Jin-sil while explaining why she only worked as an MC for the cable talk show 'Taxi' and not on terrestrial television. She said, "October 2nd is the day my friend (the late Choi Jin-sil) went to heaven. I didn't want to make a fuss for a year," adding, "For a year, I wanted to repay the kindness of those who helped my friend when she passed and say my thanks. I took that year to reflect."

Lee Young-ja, who went on a trip to Japan with Lee Kyung-sil, said, "My sister probably felt I was stifled, not doing much broadcast work and just staying at home. I also felt confined, thinking in only one direction, but I'm grateful to be out here next to you."

Lee Young-ja also confessed, "I'm weak when it comes to emotions. I cry a lot alone, blame myself a lot, and end up resenting others. Having a lot of affection might seem good, but personally, I don't think it is. There are times I really hate this personality of mine."
