Seo Sumin's Chilling Escape Attempt

In the fourth episode of SBS's Friday-Saturday drama 'Chief Kim,' it was revealed that Chief Kim's (So Ji-sub) daughter, Kim Min-ji (Seo Soo-min), whom he believed to be dead, was alive. She woke up in a cold storage room and attempted to escape. Chief Kim tracked his daughter's whereabouts by finding a homeless man who had received her cell phone. The homeless man explained that he found the phone after seeing a man discard it, and Chief Kim headed to his daughter's location using clues such as the man's car color and hairstyle.

Meanwhile, the terrible fated connection between Joo Kang-chan (Joo Sang-wook) and Geum-i-ppal was also depicted. Geum-i-ppal, a former thug, was almost pushed off an apartment rooftop by the head of a security company when a redevelopment approval didn't go as planned. After recovering, Geum-i-ppal believed Joo Kang-chan had ordered his death and went to confront him, but was instead severely beaten by Joo Kang-chan. In front of Joo Kang-chan's secretary, Director Nam (Lee Dong-ha), Geum-i-ppal pleaded, "I will become the chairman's dog."

Time passed, and Geum-i-ppal attempted to blackmail Joo Kang-chan by using the fact that Joo Kang-chan's daughter, Joo Hye-ri (Yoo Ji-an), had killed Chief Kim's daughter, Kim Min-ji, and that she possessed Kim Min-ji's body. However, Joo Kang-chan instead planned to frame Geum-i-ppal for Joo Hye-ri's murder.
