K-pop Star Eugene's Son Makes Her Feel Old

Shoo, a former member of S.E.S., revealed that she feels her age when she sees her son, who is now in his first year of high school.

On the July 4th broadcast of MBN's "Dok-chi-mi: Show That Unravels Sorrows," the discussion revolved around the theme, "I never knew living as myself would be this hard."

Shoo, who married basketball player Im Hyo-sung in 2010 and became a mother of three, mentioned that her last activities were the S.E.S. 20th-anniversary concert in 2016 and a play in 2017. She stated that her appearance on "Dok-chi-mi" was her first in nearly 10 years, making her feel awkward.

Lee Hyun-yi, who appeared on the show with Shoo, expressed surprise at the fact that Shoo's son is already in his first year of high school and asked when he grew up so much. Shoo shared that her son tells her, "Mom, you have to live a long time." In response, Lee Hyun-yi commented that looking at Shoo's appearance, she seems like she could be her son's friend or even older sister.

Shoo honestly confessed her feelings, saying that whenever her son says, "Mom, you have to live a long time. You have to be healthy to be with us," instead of feeling touched, she thinks, 'But I'm still 28 years old?' and realizes how much her son has grown and how much she has aged.
