So Ji Sub's Undercover Identity Revealed in K-Drama

In the fourth episode of SBS's Friday-Saturday drama 'The Chief Detective 1958', Chief Detective Kim (So Ji-sub) was already aware that Jeong Sang-ah (Son Na-eun) and laundry owner Mr. Im (Park Ji-woo) were undercover agents monitoring him.

In the previous broadcast, Chief Detective Kim, along with Seong Han-su (Choi Dae-hoon), tracked his daughter Kim Min-ji's (Seo Soo-min) phone signal, subdued the gang members, and recovered the phone. At this moment, Park Kang-seong (Kim Sung-kyu) appeared and pointed a gun at Chief Detective Kim, heightening the tension.

At the moment of crisis, Jeong Sang-ah and laundry owner Mr. Im appeared and blocked Park Kang-seong. They were revealed to be undercover agents monitoring Chief Detective Kim. However, Chief Detective Kim was not surprised by their appearance at all, and when Jeong Sang-ah asked why, he replied, "I expected there to be surveillance around me."

When Jeong Sang-ah and laundry owner Mr. Im told him to surrender, Chief Detective Kim said, "Min-ji has been kidnapped. Please wait until I find her. I will turn myself in once I find her. I promise," and then left.
