Ok Taecyeon was revealed to be North Korea's "human weapon '66'" in the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Chief Kim'. In the fourth episode, aired on the 4th, the past of Chief Kim, played by So Ji-sub, was revealed, and Ok Taecyeon appeared in the drama as a character with the codename '66'.
It was revealed that Chief Kim's childhood was that of an unfortunate child raised as a human weapon after applying to a sports team recruitment in North Korea. He fiercely confronted Park Young-gwang (Ok Taecyeon), who was selected as a weapon after subduing other children, until he was on the verge of losing consciousness. The two lived lives less than human, with Chief Kim being called 'Mr. Kim' without even knowing his own name, and being ordered to forget all names and pasts.
Later, Park Young-gwang, who grew up as a rival aiming for each other's lives, became 'Number 66', and Chief Kim became 'Number 74'. The two were deployed on a mission and caught in an explosion. The North Korean side judged that '66' had died due to Chief Kim's betrayal and considered Chief Kim a primary enemy who had defected to South Korea.
