Korean Actor Nanningu Dies at 46

BJ Nanninggu (real name Han Taesik), a first-generation gaming broadcaster who has been active since the early days of internet broadcasting, has passed away at the age of 46.

Internet broadcaster BJ Monkey announced Nanninggu's death through his social media. According to the obituary written by the bereaved family, the deceased passed away on the 5th, and the funeral procession is scheduled for the morning of the 7th. The burial site will be at Incheon Family Park.

In a tribute post, BJ Monkey further expressed his sorrow by implying that the cause of death was a drastic choice due to debt. He stated, "He was a brother I truly liked and respected," and conveyed his grief, saying, "I worked harder watching him, but now I am so upset and disappointed."

BJ Monkey continued, expressing mixed feelings of sorrow and resentment, "Debt, what is it that made you make such a bad choice? Honestly, I'm angry," and "What sin have the remaining family members committed? Live your lives in eternal apology." Nevertheless, he offered his condolences, saying, "In any case, Han Taesik, a brother I truly respected and loved, I hope you rest in peace there. I will visit and pay my respects."

The deceased is a first-generation game creator who gained fame primarily through activities on platforms like AfreecaTV and YouTube. Starting in the early 2010s, he presented broadcast content based on mobile games and MMORPGs (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games). Like his stage name 'Nanninggu,' he often broadcast wearing a white sleeveless t-shirt and gained popularity with his charming wit mixed with a regional dialect.
