Kwon Hyuk-soo, the story behind choosing the name "Seok-shun"

Members of the project co-ed group SUCTION, Kwon Hyuk-soo, Narsha, Na Hyun-young, and MJ, appeared on SBS Power FM's '2 O'Clock Escape Cultwo Show' and revealed behind-the-scenes stories related to their group name. They announced that they made a comeback by recycling their debut song from 15 years ago, jokingly adding that they won both a rookie award and a grand prize with that song.

Regarding the group name 'SUCTION,' the members explained, "It means we're going to suck up the entire music industry." They originally intended to name the group 'Dyson Vacuum Cleaner,' but due to difficulties with name usage, they searched for alternatives and settled on 'SUCTION.' When Kim Tae-gyun pointed out, "Dyson vacuums weren't available 15 years ago," Kwon Hyuk-soo hastily clarified, "​It must have been before they were released in Korea," drawing laughter. Na Hyun-young added that Kwon Hyuk-soo "​has a special ability to see into the future."

SUCTION is a project group formed through content. They released their new song 'Alteonni' on March 5th and also appeared on 'Music Bank.' Regarding the newly recruited member MJ, Kwon Hyuk-soo admitted, "He did come in through a backdoor," and revealed that MJ, who studied abroad, had only recently arrived in Korea and was still getting to know the group. MJ lightened the mood by joking, "​They don't let me use English, so I've forgotten it all," making the studio burst into laughter.
