Park Eun-bin Considering 'The Royal Flower Lives in the Palace'

Actress Park Eun-bin is positively considering a role in the drama '​A Perilla Flower Blooms in the Palace', which is based on a popular historical romance novel. The drama is set in the royal palace of the fictional country of Eunnara and depicts the romance between Empress Hyeon, known as 'Perilla Flower' due to her cruel and jealous personality despite her beautiful appearance, and Emperor Eon, who is cold-hearted. The original novel gained immense popularity when serialized on the internet site Romantique, and it is being produced by Arc Media, with the platform yet to be decided.

Park Eun-bin has reportedly been offered the role of the villainous Empress Hyeon, who is central to the story. A key reason for the high possibility of Park Eun-bin appearing in this project is that she is a fan of the original novel. In a past interview, Park Eun-bin revealed that she enjoys reading romance novels and found 'A Perilla Flower Blooms in the Palace' to be an enjoyable read, expressing her anticipation for its drama adaptation.

Casting for major roles, including Emperor Eon and Princess Inwon, is currently underway. Park Eun-bin is also scheduled to appear in the Netflix series '​Wonderful World' with Cha Eun-woo, set for release in May, and is currently filming the tvN drama '​Ominous Love', which is slated for broadcast in the latter half of the year.

Park Eun-bin's agency, Namoo Actors, stated a cautious stance: "It is true that an offer has been received, but it has not been confirmed yet. We will make a decision after reviewing various aspects." Fans are keenly watching to see if Park Eun-bin will participate in the drama adaptation of her favorite novel and portray her dream role.
