Choi Jin-sil Miscarriage Controversy Truth Revealed

Regarding the inheritance controversy of the late Choi Jin-sil, her maternal grandmother, Jeong Ok-suk, has expressed her feelings of injustice and stated her position. The YouTube channel 'Entertainment Behind-the-Scenes Lee Jin-ho' shed new light on the past inheritance controversy alongside the news of Choi Jin-sil's daughter, Choi Jun-hee's, upcoming marriage.

Previously, in 2023, Choi Jun-hee claimed on social media, "My maternal grandmother touched my share of the inheritance when I was a minor," which led to rumors spreading that the 20 to 30 billion won inheritance left by Choi Jin-sil had disappeared.

Jeong Ok-suk stated that these suspicions were untrue and emphasized, "I want to correct the parts that are not true."

According to Jeong, at the time of Choi Jin-sil's death, the liquid assets were approximately 1.5 billion won, but this amount rapidly decreased due to advertising penalty fees, legal costs, and income taxes.

The remaining assets were essentially the house in Jamwon-dong, Seoul, and two officetels, which were inherited equally by Choi Hwan-hee and Choi Jun-hee, with 50% each, and Jeong had no stake in them. Jeong revealed that she did not sell the properties for 19 years in order to pass them on directly to her grandchildren.
