SeeYa's Nam Gyuri Admits 15-Year Reunion

Singer and actress Nam Gyuri announced the full reunion of the group SeeYa after 15 years, expressing her deep affection for the members and fans. A video titled 'Ep.40 Nevertheless, We Are SeeYa | SeeYa Nam Gyuri, Kim Yeon Ji, Lee Bo Ram Vlog' was released on Nam Gyuri's YouTube channel. In the video, Nam Gyuri said, "We are releasing a SeeYa album after 15 years," and celebrated their 20th debut anniversary with members Kim Yeon Ji and Lee Bo Ram.

Nam Gyuri stated, "The three members have come together with one heart after going through so much time," and revealed their firm commitment to the team by saying, "​We created SeeYa Co., Ltd., and the members became executives." She also became teary-eyed, expressing her apologies and gratitude to the fans who waited for and loved them for so long, confessing, "​I don't think I can ever repay your kindness, even until the day I die." She vowed that while she might not be able to give back as much as she received, she would continue to do so, acknowledging that their existence was thanks to the fans' love.

The video also introduced their pre-release song 'Nevertheless, We Are,' set to be released on March 30th. Nam Gyuri expressed her deep affection for the new song, saying, "​Lyrics like 'Not a flower of a moment, but a tree that endured the seasons' and 'I'm learning to bloom late' felt very relatable as they describe our situation. It was the part that made me cry the most while recording." SeeYa plans to meet with fans through a fan meeting at EDLS in Jongno-gu, Seoul, simultaneously with the pre-release song's launch.

Meanwhile, SBS's 'My Little Old Boy' revealed Nam Gyuri's unexpected daily life. Her home, decorated entirely in white, surprised the studio with her unusual habits, such as drinking dongchimi (radish water kimchi) and eating grilled pork belly for breakfast. Additionally, SeeYa members Lee Bo Ram and Kim Yeon Ji visited Nam Gyuri's home to celebrate their 20th debut anniversary. The members shared candid stories, from their first stage without makeup to behind-the-scenes tales of their final performance before disbandment and their honest feelings during the disbandment amidst numerous rumors, becoming emotional.

Lee Bo Ram recounted her past experiences, including going on stage for her first performance without makeup and receiving a call from her mother asking if she was bruised after wearing makeup for their 'Gudo' promotions, conveying her past feelings of hurt. She also reminisced about the bittersweet feeling of having both her debut and final performances on the same music show, 'Inkigayo,' and recalled the moment she shed tears during their disbandment. Nam Gyuri expressed regret, stating that if they had had good adults around them when they were younger, they could have remained a more remarkable group.
