Park Shin-yang Reveals Recent Status at Andong Warehouse
Actor Park Shin-yang will appear on KBS 2TV's entertainment show 'New Launching Stalls' and reveal his current situation living in a container in a warehouse in Andong, Gyeongsangbuk-do. Appearing in a worn-out work uniform in a warehouse with old structures and tents, he explained, "It's so cold that I live wearing ski pants. I don't even have time to change clothes, so I just wear these ski pants," surprising the cast. Park Shin-yang showcases a unique daily life in the warehouse, where he cooks and eats, rides an electric kickboard, and uses trendy slang from the younger generation.
Park Shin-yang, who is making his first appearance in about seven years since the drama 'My Lawyer, Mr. Jo' in 2019, introduced a container inside a large warehouse in the middle of a wasteland in Andong as his living space. He revealed that due to the cold weather, he wears ski pants and saves time by cooking and eating inside the warehouse. The cast members reacted with concern about his container lifestyle, asking, "Are you really living in a container?" and "Did you become a sudden pauper?"

Park Shin-yang exuded a cheerful and quirky charm, riding an electric kickboard inside the warehouse and using the latest slang. He confessed that he has been painting for about 13 to 14 years, and that he had to stop his activities due to a back injury that left him unable to get up and a thyroid problem. Amidst these difficulties, he revealed that he started painting out of longing for a person who "changed my life completely," the person who inspired his acting debut and his path as a painter.
To exhibit about 200 paintings he has created over 13 years, Park Shin-yang recreated an exhibition space in Andong with the same size and structure as the entire Sejong Center for the Performing Arts, spanning approximately 400 pyeong. He humorously promoted the exhibition by using a famous line from the drama 'Lovers in Paris,' saying, "Baby. Let's go see the exhibition. How can I go dressed like this?"
