BTS Friendship Shines Without Jin's Credit

The reason for Jin's name being omitted from the credits of BTS's 5th full album, 'ARIRANG', has been revealed. Jin was on a solo tour when the members held a songwriting camp in the U.S. for their new album, and he was unable to be included in the album credits because he joined later. Although Jin's name is not listed in the credits, BTS, reunited after 3 years and 9 months, is achieving remarkable success and elevating their status.

On the 20th, BTS mentioned the credits during their 5th full album comeback live broadcast. Suga explained, "Looking at the credits, there are producers, but we also proactively participated in the work as producers." Jin added, "They said they had already created over 100 songs. I heard more than half of the album after coming to Korea."

To Jin, who expressed his disappointment, RM comforted him by saying, "It's a shame that if your tour had ended just a little sooner, you could have participated. You were the first to be discharged and maintained the team's momentum. You went on tour, did 'Run, Seokjin,' and 'Giganjang.' Your role was significant." V mentioned, "There was time when you could have done it, but your condition wasn't good," and the other members also expressed their gratitude, saying, "You went through a lot of hardship. Thanks to you, you protected the team." Jin responded, "I'm glad many great songs came out," showing their strong team chemistry.

BTS emphasized that they don't dwell on credit listings and stress that the team exists because they have each other. During the hiatus due to military enlistment, Jin, who was the first to be discharged, minimized the gap by releasing new songs, going on solo tours, and appearing on variety shows. The members expressed their gratitude to Jin, stating that they were able to release a new album after 3 years and 9 months as they returned one by one, which proves their friendship.

United as one, BTS is achieving remarkable success and elevating their status. According to Netflix, the live broadcast 'BTS Comeback Live: Arirang,' which aired on the 21st, was watched by 18.4 million people that day. The video uploaded to Netflix after the event ranked number one in weekly charts in 24 countries/regions and was included in the top 10 in 80 countries/regions.
