NCT Mark's 10-Year Thank You to SM Entertainment

Group NCT's Mark has ended his exclusive contract with SM Entertainment, which he had been with for 10 years, stating, "I am only filled with gratitude." On the 3rd, Mark conveyed his desire to personally inform his fan club 'Czennies' about his new decision and chapter through a handwritten letter.

Mark expressed that through his experiences with SM and NCT, he "came to know myself better and find my best," and through NCT, he felt "​like I've experienced the sky, the earth, the sea, and the mountains to the fullest." He emphasized, "​I think I've come to truly want to find out what my music or fruits will be, and how I can bear them in the world, and achieve it."

Furthermore, Mark said, "Every single member, without exception, supports me," and conveyed his "​eternal apologies and, above all, gratitude" to the members. He expressed his thanks by describing the members, who supported his desire to "swim," as "​members who support my deep dive with love."

Mark vowed, "I will live my life with a grateful heart towards SM, the NCT members, and Czennies forever," and pledged, "​I will do my very best to work hard and strive to be a better Mark when I greet you all with a new image in the future."

Earlier, SM Entertainment officially announced that Mark's exclusive contract would end on the 8th, following extensive discussions. SM stated, "NCT 127 will continue its activities with seven members: Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Jungwoo, and Haechan, while NCT DREAM will continue with six members: Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Chenle, and Jisung."
