Nexz Single 2nd Album Comeback

The group NEXZ is launching its full-scale activities with the release of their second single album, ‘Mmchk’. This album marks their comeback six months after their mini-album ‘Beat-Boxer’ in October of last year, and it's their first single album in approximately two years since their global debut work ‘Ride the Vibe’ in May 2024.

The album title ‘Mmchk’ is pronounced ‘Eum-cheu-keu’ and is a neologism representing NEXZ's unique and mysterious charm, much like their rhythmic sound. It expresses NEXZ's attitude, which is difficult to define within existing frameworks, and captures the cool appeal of the members who choose and enjoy what they are drawn to at each moment, rather than adhering to set standards.

This single includes a total of three tracks: the title song ‘Mmchk’, the B-side track ‘​HYPEMAN’, and ‘​Mmchk (English Version)’. Notably, members Tomoya, Hyui, and Yuki participated in the lyrics for all songs, showcasing their capabilities as a ‘​next-generation self-producing group’.

The title song ‘Mmchk’ is a dance track based on bass house, characterized by its cheerful rap and addictive beat. The performance, befitting their moniker of a ‘​group of natural dancers’, is expected to deliver boldness and exhilaration.

NEXZ will continue their global endeavors with the release of their new album. Starting with a comeback showcase on the 27th, they will hold global showcase events in Taipei in May, Hong Kong in June, and Bangkok in July. They also plan to solidify their global presence through large-scale stages, including a Japanese arena tour and an appearance at Brazil's ‘Rock in Rio’ festival in September.
