On the broadcast of KBS 2TV's weekend drama 'Doctor Stranger' on the 26th, Gong Ju-a (Jin Se-yeon) and Yang Hyun-bin's (Park Ki-woong) relationship was discovered by Na Sun-hae (Kim Mi-sook). Na Sun-hae found a photo of the two together and accused them of dating multiple people. Gong Ju-a confessed that Yang Hyun-bin was her boyfriend. Gong Ju-a asked Na Sun-hae for help, but Na Sun-hae firmly opposed it, citing Han Sung-mi's (Yoo Ho-jeong) battle with breast cancer, and told Gong Ju-a to end the relationship before her mother found out. Gong Woo-jae (Kim Seon-bin) scolded Gong Ju-a, who was upset, thinking her grandmother would take her side.

Meanwhile, Han Sung-mi was about to confess her breast cancer diagnosis to Gong Jeong-han (Kim Seung-soo), but Gong Jeong-han said he wanted to go find his father. Han Sung-mi relayed this to Na Sun-hae, reassuring her that she was fine. Gong Jeong-han headed to Seongdam City with Yang Dong-ik (Kim Hyung-muk) where his father was found. There, Mi-hyang (Yoon Bok-in) recognized Gong Jeong-han and asked if he was a police officer while hiding Gong Gi-cheol (Kim Chang-wan).

Later, Han Sung-mi casually revealed to Gong Jeong-han, "They say I have stage 2 breast cancer," and Gong Jeong-han, trying to appear calm, replied, "You know it's not a big deal. There's a cancer patient in every other house." Na Sun-hae got angry at Gong Jeong-han, saying, "You're so dedicated to your patients, but why are you like this about Sung-mi's situation?" Gong Jeong-han shed tears alone and sobbed, "I think I caused you too much worry, I can't even look you in the eye."

Additionally, Yang Eun-bin (Yoon Seo-ah) was deeply shocked to learn that Cha Se-ri's (So Yi-hyun) hidden daughter was Choi Min-seo (Park Ri-won). Yang Eun-bin misunderstood, believing Cha Se-ri and Choi Min-seo had deliberately approached her to target her family, and expressed her anger and betrayal to Yang Hyun-bin. However, Yang Eun-bin realized their approach wasn't intentional when she saw Choi Min-seo meeting with a nun. Choi Min-seo tearfully said her birth mother didn't want to see her.

At the end of the broadcast, Yang Hyun-bin was about to confess to Han Sung-mi that he was dating Gong Ju-a, but Han Sung-mi revealed her breast cancer first. Han Sung-mi asked him to keep it a secret from her daughter, and Yang Hyun-bin hugged Gong Ju-a and promised to stay with her and protect her no matter what happened.
