Jennie to perform at major US festival
Girl group BLACKPINK member Jennie will participate as a headliner at "2026 Lollapalooza Chicago," a major music festival in the United States. The festival will be held from July 30 to August 2 in Chicago's Grant Park.
Jennie has been named one of the main headliners, alongside artists like Charli XCX, Lorde, and Olivia Dean. She also performed at last year's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, the largest music festival in the United States.

In addition to Jennie, four K-pop artist teams, including aespa, (G)I-DLE, and Courteeners, will be performing at this year's "Lollapalooza Chicago," showcasing the elevated status of K-pop. Notably, this will be the first Lollapalooza appearance for (G)I-DLE and Courteeners.

"Lollapalooza" is a large-scale outdoor music festival that began in Chicago in 1991 and is known to attract over 400,000 attendees annually. The participation of K-pop artists has been on the rise since BTS member J-Hope's appearance in 2022.
In addition to her Lollapalooza performance, Jennie has confirmed headlining appearances at the Governors Ball Music Festival in New York in June and the Mad Cool Festival in Spain in July, further solidifying her position as a global solo artist.
