The film 'The Man Who Lived with the King' surpassed 6.52 million viewers, taking the top spot at the box office. Influenced by "Culture Day," the daily audience increased by over 110,000 from the previous day, drawing 309,574 viewers.

'The Man Who Lived with the King' surpassed 6 million viewers in just 20 days after its release, showing the same box office momentum as 'Masquerade'. The possibility of the first 10 million viewer film of the year is being raised.

The film is set in Cheongnyungpo in 1457 and tells the story of a village chief who volunteers for exile to revitalize his village, and the young former king who was exiled after being dethroned. It focuses on the hidden story of King Danjong, a first for Korean cinema.

In second place at the box office was director Ryoo Seung-wan's spy action film 'Humint', which recorded 37,892 daily viewers and a cumulative audience of 1,675,645. 'Humint' depicts the clash of characters with different objectives set against the backdrop of Vladivostok.

Third place was taken by the Japanese film '5 Centimeters Per Second' with 17,947 viewers, followed by 'Neja 2' in fourth and 'Hamnet' in fifth.
