Kim Hye Yoon & Lee Jong Won's 'The Killer's Shopping List' Chemistry Revealed
Actress Kim Hye-yun shared her thoughts on working with Lee Jong-won as former lovers in the movie 'Salmokji' and behind-the-scenes stories from filming. Kim Hye-yun said, "The older brother called my name a lot in the drama, so I thought, 'Ah, this is someone who's worried about me.'"
The movie 'Salmokji,' opening on the 8th, is a horror film about what happens when an unidentified figure is captured on 'Salmokji's' road view, and the filming crew, heading to a reservoir for reshoots, encounters something in the dark, deep water. This work is director Lee Sang-min's feature directorial debut, and Kim Hye-yun plays the role of Han Su-in, a PD at the road view service company Onroad Media.

In the movie, Kim Hye-yun appears as Lee Jong-won's former lover, showcasing "ex-chemistry." She said, "From the first time Jong-won oppa saw me, he made me feel comfortable as if we already knew each other, so we became close easily," and "I worried about how to best portray the 'ex-chemistry,' but the director guided Su-in's speech in a sharp, curt direction, so we filmed it well." She also added, "Even when we were on a boat in the reservoir at night, I relied a lot on oppa."
Regarding the underwater filming process, she said, "I actually like water quite a lot," but honestly confessed, "This time, the genre was dark and all the props were scary, so I was afraid when I actually went underwater." She continued, "Jong-won oppa finished filming skillfully first, and with his encouragement, I thought, 'I must overcome this fear,'" and expressed her gratitude to Lee Jong-won, saying, "Even though I didn't have as many underwater scenes as oppa, I was able to finish filming with peace of mind."
