Actress Kim Hye-yun spoke about the reactions from those around her after a preview screening of the movie 'Salmokji' ahead of its release. Kim Hye-yun said, "The acquaintances I invited generally said, 'We came because of you, but horror movies are too scary for me'," adding, "​Many reacted by saying they watched with their eyes covered." She also mentioned hearing, "​There were many new angles, so the scenes were very memorable," along with "​Most people closed their eyes because it was too scary, and the sounds were also very frightening."

The movie 'Salmokji,' starring Kim Hye-yun, will be released on the second anniversary of the tvN drama 'Lovely Runner.' Regarding the simultaneous release, Kim Hye-yun said, "I want to carry on the good energy." She also sent a message of support to Byun Woo-seok, who worked with her on 'Lovely Runner' and will meet viewers on MBC drama 'The Grand Heir of the 21st Century' on the 10th, saying, "​I hope we can both cheer each other on."

Regarding the increased popularity she gained through 'Lovely Runner,' Kim Hye-yun revealed, "When I traveled abroad due to my schedule, many fans would come to see me. There are many people who welcome me," and "​I realized that so many people love me."
