The movie "The Man Who Lived with the King" continues its box office success, surpassing 15 million cumulative viewers and breaking the 150 billion won cumulative revenue mark.

According to the Korean Film Council's Integrated Network of Admissions, "The Man Who Lived with the King" (hereafter "Wangsa Nam") maintained its number one position at the box office, drawing 511,885 viewers over the weekend of its eighth week (March 27-29).

This brings the cumulative audience for "Wangsa Nam" to 15,615,930 viewers. This figure narrows the gap with "Extreme Job," the second highest-grossing film of all time (final audience count: 16,266,641), to approximately 650,000 viewers.

In terms of revenue, "Wangsa Nam" also held its top position. With an investment of 10.5 billion won in net production costs, "Wangsa Nam" recorded 5.08972 billion won in revenue last weekend, bringing its cumulative revenue to 150.70891 billion won.
"Wangsa Nam" is a historical drama depicting the story of village chief Eom Heung-do (played by Yoo Hae-jin), who voluntarily exiled himself for the prosperity of his village in 1457, and the young exiled former king, Danjong Yi Hong-wi (played by Park Ji-hoon).
