Han Hye Jin's Epic Gyaru Makeup Transformation

Model Han Hye-jin is garnering attention for her bold gyaru makeup transformation. On March 26th, a video was released on Han Hye-jin's YouTube channel documenting her and her close friend Pungja's attempt at gyaru makeup in Tokyo, Japan.

In the video, Han Hye-jin proposed the gyaru makeup challenge after seeing Park Myung-soo's successful "Wanghong" makeup. Although Pungja reacted by saying, "Isn't that too late?", Han Hye-jin led the filming, stating, "It can't be helped since we're late to Japan." Their reactions differed during their travels. Pungja expressed concern, asking, "Are there gyaru this big in Japan?" and joked, "Being pretty isn't important. We just need to leave behind embarrassing memories." In contrast, Han Hye-jin showed anticipation, saying, "Why embarrassing memories? Will we ever have this experience again before we die?"

After their full transformation, Pungja completed her "Fat Gyaru" style with a blonde wig, leopard print outfit, and fur boots. Han Hye-jin transformed into a pink-toned gyaru, exclaiming, "This is so fun. It's like playing with dolls," and expressed satisfaction after the makeup, saying, "I look so pretty." The transformed duo proceeded with filming around Shibuya Station. Han Hye-jin exuded her model-like aura, and Pungja also approached the shoot professionally.

However, once they hit the streets, both of them couldn't hide their shyness. Han Hye-jin admitted, "I'm embarrassed," and Pungja honestly shared, "I've stood in front of many people while broadcasting, but this is the first time I've felt this embarrassed." Despite this, they resolved to be more confident and continued filming. About an hour later, after finishing the shoot, they added to the laughter by revealing their group name, "Takoyaki," and their debut album jacket concept.
