Hong Geum-bo (played by Park Shin-hye) secured Kang No-ra (played by Choi Ji-soo)'s shares, foreshadowing a final crisis. Hong Geum-bo, as the representative of the Yeouido Pirates, submitted a motion to dismiss Chairman Kang Pil-beom at the shareholders' meeting. Kang Pil-beom attacked Hong Geum-bo personally by revealing his personal information, while Song Ju-ran (played by Park Mi-hyun), despite knowing about the slush fund transfer, pressured Kang Pil-beom by emphasizing her dedication. Shin Jeong-woo (played by Ko Kyung-pyo) persuaded DK Ventures to withdraw their investment contract with Hanmin Securities.

Hong Geum-bo visited Choi In-ja (played by Byun Jung-soo), Kang Pil-beom's ex-wife and Kang No-ra's mother, and requested the 1% stake she received during their divorce. Hong Geum-bo pointed to Song Ju-ran and Bong Dal-su (played by Kim Roe-ha) as the masterminds behind Kang No-ra's kidnapping and President Kang Myung-hwi's (played by Choi Won-young) traffic accident, urging Choi In-ja to make a decision. Choi In-ja informed Kang Pil-beom that Song Ju-ran was an accomplice and confronted him, but Kang Pil-beom avoided the conversation, stating that company matters were more urgent. Choi In-ja mentioned her daughter's past hurt from Kang Pil-beom refusing the ransom during Kang No-ra's kidnapping, and added 1% of Hanmin Securities shares to Hong Geum-bo, but drew a line, stating it was separate from Kang No-ra.

Kang No-ra, frightened after Song Ju-ran had Go Bok-hee (played by Ha Yoon-kyung) arrested for theft and embezzlement, returned to Hanmin Securities. As promised to Kang Pil-beom, Kang No-ra endured for three months, securing an additional 9% of shares for a total of 14%. The motion to dismiss Kang Pil-beom was rejected, and he prepared a press conference to introduce Kang No-ra as the new face of Hanmin Securities.

At the press conference, Kang No-ra announced that she would exercise all her shares on behalf of the Yeouido Pirates, handing over her shares to Hong Geum-bo. This was a situation where Kang No-ra publicly transferred her shares at an event prepared by Kang Pil-beom, delivering a major shock to him.
