Jung Yu-mi, female lead in the director's new work following "The World of the Married"
Actress Jung Yu-mi will appear in the new Netflix series 'Love Affair' (tentative title).
'Love Affair' is the new work by director Mo Wan-il, who helmed 'The World of the Married', and it tells the story of a couple enjoying a happy marriage who face ruin due to a fatal love affair. While the premise is similar to 'The World of the Married', the level of expression and plot development are expected to be even more unconventional.

In the drama, Jung Yu-mi will play the wife of a male protagonist in his early 40s, Kim Ji-hoon, whose family faces ruin as he falls into a passionate affair with another woman.

This project marks Jung Yu-mi's first work since signing with her new agency, Noon Company, and her first acting collaboration with Lee Dong-wook is also noteworthy.
'Love Affair' is scheduled to begin filming in the first half of this year and will include overseas location shooting in Spain. Ha Soo-jin wrote the script, Mo Wan-il is directing, and it is set to be released on Netflix.
