The movie 'The King and the Man' has released a riverside poster to commemorate surpassing 9 million viewers. The film tells the story of the young former king, Danjong Yi Hongwi, who was exiled to Cheongnyongpo in 1457, and Eom Heungdo, who surrounded him.
The released poster depicts Yi Hongwi sitting alone by the river in his place of exile, playing with the water, capturing his lonely figure. Dressed in a white robe and crouching, his appearance offers a glimpse into his longing for freedom despite his young age.

Yoo Hae-jin, who plays Eom Heungdo, cited this scene as the most memorable in an interview, stating, "I remember the scene where Yi Hongwi was playing with the water by the river in his exile. At that time, Eom Heungdo's feelings must have been like those of a parent watching their child. He was at an age where he should be free if not for his exile, and it was so pitiful."
