Lee Dong-hwi, Decides After Carrying the Coffin of the Late Na Chul
Actor Lee Dong-hwi appeared on tvN's variety show "You Quiz on the Block" and shed tears as he recalled the sadness of losing his close friend, the late Na Chul.
Lee Dong-hwi confessed, "As I've had a few friends pass away before me, after losing them, I started thinking that I don't want to live like this." In particular, his parting with the late Na Chul, who suddenly passed away in January 2023 at the age of 36, became a major turning point for him.

Lee Dong-hwi shared, "After sending my friend off, I made a resolution. The day I returned home after the funeral, I thought I had to live my life trying to ensure that such (sad) things wouldn't happen around me again," conveying his decision to live a life caring for those left behind after losing a friend.

Lee Dong-hwi also added, "If I've lived doing everything I wanted up until now, I now want to live for my family." He further explained, "My mother's health was not good at one point. I thought it would be good for my parents' health if I appeared on broadcasts more often. That's why I thought I wanted to be on TV more."
Lee Dong-hwi revealed his honest feelings, saying, "Seeing my parents getting older, I want to show them that I'm starting a family. That is my ultimate goal." He added, "In the past, I was a blunt son, but now I'm becoming a chatty son to my parents," evoking a touching sentiment.
