Actress Lim Ji-yeon has received an offer to appear in the drama ‘Unlike’ as her next project and is currently reviewing it. An official from her agency, Artist Company, revealed this on the 14th.

The drama ‘Unlike’ is a modern-day ‘Prince and the Pauper’ story about a poor job seeker who is fired from their job because they resemble the second-generation owner, and then, after going to jail, forms an alliance with the ‘underdogs’ to get revenge. Writer Kim In-yeong is writing the script, and PD Noh Young-seop is directing. The role of the protagonist, Lee Eun-seok, has been offered to Lim Ji-yeon, and this role is known to require acting in two roles.

Lim Ji-yeon recently showcased a powerful villainous performance as Park Yeon-jin in the drama ‘The Glory,’ and subsequently demonstrated her versatility in various characters in ‘Home Sweet Home’ and ‘The Story of Ms. O.’ Furthermore, she is currently appearing in the SBS drama ‘A Wonderful New World,’ which premiered on the 8th, as Shin Seo-ri, an unknown actress possessed by a Joseon-era villain. ‘A Wonderful New World’ recorded a viewership rating of 5.4% within two episodes of its broadcast and ranked first in viewership in the global Top 10 TV Shows (Non-English) within three days of its Netflix release.
