Lim Ji-yeon's Record & Next Project 'All of Us Are Dead'

Actress Lim Ji-yeon's next project has been confirmed as the drama 'Alike'. Lim Ji-yeon is set to portray two roles in this production.

The character Lim Ji-yeon will play, Lee Eun-seok, is an ordinary and likable person with typical cheerfulness, cuteness, and humor. She is a sensible commoner who loves her family, keeps her promises, and believes in achieving her desires through effort. However, the moment someone tramples on the value of her efforts, a hidden passionate and fierce side awakens within her.

The drama 'Alike' depicts a modern-day 'Prince and the Pauper' revenge story. It tells the tale of a poor job seeker who is coincidentally fired and even serves time in prison because he looks like the second-generation owner of a company. Afterward, he unites with the "underdogs" to overthrow the "king." The drama is expected to showcase a thrilling battle and romance unfolding in a gray zone where the lines between good and evil are blurred, along with the birth of a villain we want to root for.

Lim Ji-yeon has recently established herself as a "trustworthy actress" by delivering impressive performances in various works such as 'The Glory', 'Homecoming', and 'The Story of Lady Ok'. Furthermore, 'The New World,' which premiered last week, achieved a remarkable feat by becoming the first SBS Friday-Saturday drama to rank first in Netflix's 'Global Top 10 Non-English TV Shows' weekly viewership rankings in its premiere week. Amidst such high interest from global fans, Lim Ji-yeon has chosen 'Alike' for her next project, raising expectations for another acting transformation.

'Alike' will be written by screenwriter Kim In-young and directed by PD Noh Young-seop.
