Seoul Music Awards: Kwon Eun Bi, ATEEZ Win Awards

The 35th Seoul Music Awards has raised K-pop fans' anticipation by revealing its second lineup, which includes Kwon Eunbi, ATEEZ, Lee Chanwon, Ahop, Alphadriveone, and more. The lineup features a large number of artists, from globally popular stars to next-generation rookies, heralding a spectacular awards ceremony.

Kwon Eunbi will take the Seoul Music Awards stage for the first time as a solo artist. She previously attended as a member of the group IZ*ONE in 2019 and has since solidified her position as a solo artist with releases like "Door" and "Underwater." Her performance of "Underwater" at a summer festival in 2023 garnered significant attention, leading to a resurgence on music charts and earning her the nickname "Summer Queen."

ATEEZ will be attending the Seoul Music Awards for the first time since 2021. Since their debut in 2018, ATEEZ has shown consistent growth. They recently achieved a milestone by entering the U.S. Billboard main song chart 'Hot 100' with their 12th mini-album "GOLDEN HOUR : Part.3" title track "Lemon Drop." This marks a first for the group and the third record for a K-pop boy group. They have further proven their global influence by reaching 3rd place on the Billboard main album chart 'Billboard 200' with their 13th mini-album "GOLDEN HOUR : Part.4" and winning five music show trophies with the title track.

Trot singer Lee Chanwon will also perform at the Seoul Music Awards. After ranking third in a trot audition program in 2020, Lee Chanwon achieved his third consecutive half-million seller status with his second full album "Challan (燦爛)," recording 610,000 initial sales. He is gaining attention as an all-around artist, active not only in music but also in variety shows and as an MC. He is currently showing strong fandom power, maintaining high rankings in the 'Popularity Award' and 'Trot Award' categories in the final fan vote for the Seoul Music Awards, being held on the global fan platform IDOLCHAMP.

The nine-member boy group Ahop, formed through the SBS audition program 'Universe League,' will make their first appearance at the Seoul Music Awards. Since their debut in July of last year, they have shown rapid growth, winning three music show trophies with every album released. They are scheduled to embark on their first Asia tour in June, ahead of their comeback, continuing their global activities.
