Jun Ji-hyun, Koo Kyo-hwan's 'The Moon' Hits Theaters

The movie "The Reckoning," starring Jun Ji-hyun, Koo Kyo-hwan, and Ji Chang-wook, has released its main poster ahead of its May 21st release. This film, a new work by director Yeon Sang-ho, depicts the struggle for survival between survivors and the infected within a building sealed off due to an unknown infectious outbreak.

The main poster features the striking visuals of six actors: Jun Ji-hyun, Koo Kyo-hwan, Ji Chang-wook, Shin Hyun-been, Kim Shin-rok, and Go Soo. They express a range of emotions, including the desperation to survive amidst an unknown viscous substance, the determination to uncover the truth of the incident, and an air of mystery. The viscous substance in the poster sparks curiosity about its connection to the outbreak.

"The Reckoning" was officially invited to the Midnight Screening section of the 79th Cannes Film Festival and is scheduled for its domestic release on May 21st. The film promises intense confrontations and suspense between the six protagonists in extreme circumstances and the evolving infected, garnering anticipation from audiences worldwide.

Meanwhile, a video released on the YouTube channel 'Showbox' revealed that actress Jun Ji-hyun was chosen as the mood maker of the "The Reckoning" team. Kim Shin-rok shared that Jun Ji-hyun "energized the set with the vitality of a high school student and brought delicious food to share with everyone," conveying the warm atmosphere on set. Kim Shin-rok also mentioned that she lost weight for her role, which required her to be carried by Ji Chang-wook.
