Kim Hwanhee & Choi Minwoo Announce Marriage

Musical actors Kim Hwan-hee and Choi Min-woo have announced their wedding. The couple will hold their wedding ceremony on May 18.

Choi Min-woo shared a handwritten letter on his personal account, stating, "I met a partner with whom I will spend my life on the most fairytale-like stage, and on May 18, we will take our first step together as a married couple." He asked fans to support and bless him on this new chapter of his life, acknowledging that the news might have been sudden. He added, "I will never forget the love and support you have given me so far, and I will repay it more than ever, always doing my best in my given role."

Kim Hwan-hee also announced her wedding news through her personal account on the same day. Regarding her future husband, she said, "I became convinced that 'if I spend my whole life with this person, even worries would be a joyful process.'" She explained, "He made me feel that 'we can dream of 'love,' which I consider most important in my life, in the same way, and build a beautiful and healthy life with our own values rather than striving for perfection.'"

The two are known to have met through the performance 'Disney in Concert: Beyond the Magic' and other productions.

Kim Hwan-hee, born in 1991, debuted in the musical 'Fantasia' in 2015 and has built a filmography with appearances in numerous works such as 'Hadestown,' 'Kinky Boots,' and 'Mamma Mia.' In 2019, she also won the Best New Actress award at the 3rd Korea Musical Awards.
