Im Soo Hyang Runs for Environment Day

Actress Im Soo-hyang successfully concluded the '​Soo-hyang X Mini Muhae Run' event in commemoration of '​June 5th, Environment Day'.

Held on May 30th at Han River Yeouido Park, the event was a mini-marathon and plogging event aiming for a world without trash. Approximately 30 pre-recruited participants gathered to collect trash around Yeouido Park, reflecting on the value of environmental protection.

Im Soo-hyang, who has consistently shown deep interest in environmental protection and running, personally planned this event following her participation in the '2026 Muhae Run' in April. She supported the event costs by donating her flea market profits, empathizing with the mission of the non-profit organization 'Wipers', thus practicing positive influence.

In her welcoming remarks, Im Soo-hyang expressed gratitude to the participants, stating, "I wanted to promote the 'Muhae Run's' philosophy of practicing a lifestyle that doesn't create waste, rather than just picking it up, in honor of Environment Day."

On this day, Im Soo-hyang participated with the attendees in decorating bibs using recycled paper and crafting commemorative medals. She also showed meticulous consideration by preparing a disposable-free coffee truck to provide beverages and gifting running hats to all participants.
