Do Hyun Eyed for Lead in Action Drama 'Destroyer King'

Actor Lee Do-hyun has been considered for the lead role in Director Shin Kyung-soo's new drama '​The King of Destruction'.

'The King of Destruction' is a large-scale action drama that unfolds after an ace killer, who was active in organized crime for 10 years, is assigned to a police personal protection team for an unspecified reason.

In the drama, Lee Do-hyun will play the role of the ace killer in organized crime, and is expected to showcase intense action while portraying a character who protects victims in his own unconventional way.

Director Shin Kyung-soo, who helmed 'The First Responders', 'Six Flying Dragons', and 'The Nokdu Flower', is set to direct this drama, promising to deliver thrilling catharsis.

Lee Do-hyun, who was discharged from the military in May of last year, became a "10 million viewer" actor with the film 'Exhuma' during his service. He has completed filming for his first post-discharge project, the Netflix series '​Grand Galaxy Hotel'. Recently, he announced his participation in the Korean version of the true romance film 'Let's Shake Our Sun', foreshadowing a poignant melodrama about a terminally ill patient. With the addition of the new drama '​The King of Destruction', he is set to manage an unprecedented schedule spanning both the small and big screens in the latter half of this year.
