Monsta X Kihyun Solo Comeback Announced

MONSTA X's Kihyun is returning as a solo artist after approximately 3 years and 9 months. Kihyun will release his second mini-album '​BORDERLINE' on July 7th, embarking on a new musical journey. The released coming soon video quickly flashes through airplane boarding gates, ticket counters, and airport departure boards, capturing the atmosphere of a new beginning, with mystical scenes of a door opening in the sky also appearing. The phrase '​KIHYUN AIRLINE' and symbolic objects throughout the video sparked speculation about the album's concept.

This album marks Kihyun's first solo release in approximately 3 years and 9 months since his first mini-album 'YOUTH' in October 2022. Debuting as MONSTA X's main vocalist in 2015, Kihyun has garnered attention for his powerful vocals, delicate expressiveness, and wide vocal range. He has showcased a unique presence at music festivals and concerts by performing various genres in his own style. He has also expanded his standing as a vocalist by participating in drama OSTs.
