Kim Junsu's Shocking First Daiso Visit: Just 1,000 Won!

Singer and musical actor Kim Junsu was shocked by the prices during his first visit to a Daiso store in Korea. In a video released on his YouTube channel on the 20th, Kim Junsu revealed that he visited Daiso based on recommendations from his fans. He mentioned that while he had visited Daiso in Japan a few times, this was his first time in Korea.

Upon entering the store, Kim Junsu couldn't hide his surprise, exclaiming, "Do they sell clothes too? They really have everything." He was particularly astonished by a 5,000 won product in the lighting section, saying, "​Do you make a profit? Is this only 5,000 won?" After looking at even cheaper items, he lamented, "​Is this 1,000 won? What have I been buying?" and laughed, asking, "​Where have I been shopping?" He even let out a hollow laugh, wondering, "​Do you make a profit? Am I worried about this company?" upon realizing there were no items over 10,000 won.

Kim Junsu began filling his basket to buy dog treats, stating, "Because it's cheap, I want to buy things even if I don't need them. There are also times when I don't even look at the price," and asked for an additional shopping basket. After filling his baskets, he headed to the checkout, wondering, "​How much will this cost if I buy this much... maybe a few hundred thousand won?"

The final payment amount was a total of 101,000 won. Kim Junsu exclaimed in amazement, "​Does this make sense? It barely went over 100,000 won." He also expressed a desire to come back alone next time, wearing a hat and being discreet.

Meanwhile, Kim Junsu resides in the Signiel Residence at Lotte Tower in Jamsil, Seoul, which is known to be the most expensive officetel in Korea, purchased at approximately 8.9 billion won.
