Singer Lee Seung-gi has terminated his exclusive contract with Big Planet Made Entertainment (hereinafter referred to as Big Planet). Lee Seung-gi's legal representative stated that they notified Big Planet of the contract termination at the end of March, citing a breach of the exclusive contract, and that the contract was therefore legally terminated.

Lee Seung-gi's side claimed that despite efforts to maintain a trusting relationship amidst various issues surrounding the agency, the departure of some artists, and the non-payment of certain settlement fees, settlement fees have not been paid from September of last year to the present. They added that problems also arose in supporting the artist's entertainment activities and in paying costs for on-site staff and external vendors, and that their basic request to review documents to ensure transparency in settlements was refused.

However, starting with controversies involving Cha Ga-won and MC Mong, the company has been experiencing financial difficulties, including non-payment of settlement fees, payments to partner companies, and staff wages, and it is known that even office rent is overdue.

In addition to Lee Seung-gi, numerous artists such as The Boyz, Viviz, Lee Mujin, BEO, Taemin, and Yong Jun-hyung have announced their contract terminations with Big Planet or One Hundred Label, and the controversy is spreading.
