Lee Seung Gi Terminates Contract with Big Planet

Singer and actor Lee Seung-gi has notified his agency, Big Planet Made Entertainment (hereinafter referred to as Big Planet), of the termination of his exclusive contract. Lee Seung-gi's legal representative stated that the contract termination was notified at the end of March, citing the agency's breach of the exclusive contract, and that the exclusive contract has been legally terminated.

It is known that the issue of unpaid staff expenses was the decisive factor behind Lee Seung-gi's contract termination notice. Lee Seung-gi's side stated, "Despite various issues surrounding the agency and some unpaid settlement amounts, we tried to maintain a relationship of trust, but problems arose in supporting his entertainment activities and paying expenses for staff and external companies." They added, "​We inevitably decided to terminate the contract to prevent a situation where expenses were not paid to the staff working hard on site."
