Super Junior Concert Accident: Fan Falls
A spectator fall accident occurred at a Super Junior concert. On the 5th, during Super Junior's 20th-anniversary world tour encore performance held at KSPO DOME in Seoul, a spectator seating area fence collapsed, causing three audience members to fall and sustain injuries.

SM Entertainment announced on the 6th, the day after the incident, that the injured individuals were immediately transported to the hospital for necessary examinations and treatment. They received a medical opinion stating that two weeks of rest and treatment are required for sprains and bruises.

SM Entertainment expressed its deepest apologies to the affected audience members and their families, and pledged to provide support for the treatment and do its utmost for the full recovery of the injured. Furthermore, as the concert organizer, the company acknowledged its heavy responsibility and emphasized that it would ensure thorough facility safety inspections and spectator safety management to prevent similar accidents from recurring in the future.

In relation to this, SM Entertainment explained the circumstances of the accident through an official notice, stating, "During the encore's final song performance, a safety fence installed by our company on the side of the spectator area collapsed, causing three audience members to fall and sustain injuries." The injured were taken to the hospital for examinations and treatment, and were diagnosed with sprains and bruises requiring two weeks of rest and treatment. SM Entertainment apologized to the victims, promised treatment support and recovery, and stated that it would strengthen safety management to prevent recurrence.
There have been similar stage fall accidents in the past. These include incidents involving Kiheehyun of the girl group DIA in November 2022, singer Yang Hee-eun in November 2011, Kang In-bong of Namoo Bicycle in April of the same year, Lady Gaga in June 2009, Yesung of Super Junior in August 2008, J.Yoon of MC the Max in May of the same year, and Kim Dong-wan of Shinhwa in July 2006, all of whom fell from the stage during performances. Notably, Kang In-bong of Namoo Bicycle, who suffered severe injuries, filed a lawsuit against a broadcasting company for damages and received a partial victory.
