Korean Drama Star's Revenge Slap: Power Abuse Backlash

In the 7th episode of TV Chosun's weekend drama 'Doctor Shin', Kim Jin-ju (played by Cheon Young-min), who entered Mo-mo's (played by Baek Seo-ra) body, recalled Mo-mo's past bullying and slapped herself. Kim Jin-ju looked at her reflection in the bathroom mirror and cursed, "You bad b*tch," continuing to self-harm until she had a bloody nose. Her laughter, as if satisfied, while looking at her bleeding face, was chilling. Afterward, Kim Jin-ju continued to torment herself by binge eating in Mo-mo's body.

In this drama, Shin Joo-shin (played by Jung Yi-chan), the director of neurosurgery, revealed his desire to swap Geum Ba-ra's (played by Ju Se-bin) brain. After his fiancée, actress Mo-mo (played by Baek Seo-ra), suffered a brain injury in an accident, Shin Joo-shin attempted continuous brain swaps, first swapping with Hyeon Ran-hee (played by Song Ji-in), and then with Mo-mo's stylist, Kim Jin-ju (played by Cheon Young-min). Kim Jin-ju, who grew up in an orphanage, was disheartened by the fact that her biological father was an inmate. Even after coming to live in Mo-mo's body, she repeatedly binge eats and self-harms out of hatred.

Meanwhile, Geum Ba-ra and James (played by Jeon No-min), who believed Kim Jin-ju was missing, held a 49th-day memorial service. Kim Jin-ju's biological father, Kim Kwang-chul (played by Cha Kwang-soo), believes his daughter didn't die but ran away due to shame. Ha Yong-joong (played by Ahn Woo-yeon), who was close to Geum Ba-ra, showed a change of heart, feeling jealous as he witnessed Shin Joo-shin coveting Geum Ba-ra's brain as well. Unsatisfied, Shin Joo-shin explained the brain swap to Geum Ba-ra, making a move as if to place Geum Ba-ra's brain into Mo-mo's body this time.
