Entertainer Kim Seung-hyun and his wife Jang Jung-yoon have explained a malicious rumor that he "became a fortune teller due to financial hardship," expressing their hurt. In a video released on the YouTube channel 'Gwangsan Kim Clan Family,' the couple revealed the difficulties they are experiencing due to malicious comments.
Jang Jung-yoon mentioned that while there are many positive comments on the YouTube channel, there are also absurd and malicious ones. Kim Seung-hyun explained that a recent YouTube content piece featured him briefly appearing as a sub-character named 'Bonjour Kim,' drawing caricatures and telling fortunes. Following this, an article was published claiming "Kim Seung-hyun became a fortune teller because he had no work."
Regarding this, Jang Jung-yoon stated, "They really thought Kim Seung-hyun had become a fortune teller." She clarified that he doesn't actually know how to tell fortunes and created the content using ChatGPT (AI). She expressed her frustration that people only read the article's headline and misunderstand the situation, thinking "Kim Seung-hyun became a fortune teller because he couldn't earn money."
Kim Seung-hyun shared his current activities, stating he is busy with events and other engagements. Jang Jung-yoon revealed that as a wife, she is hurt that despite her husband working diligently and living without lacking anything as a breadwinner, he is treated as if he's idle at home. She also emphasized that Kim Seung-hyun is doing his best in both childcare and financial matters, expressing her unfairness by saying, "They tell us not to sell poverty, but we have never sold poverty because we are not poor."
Jang Jung-yoon targeted creators who illegally edit videos to produce fake news, expressing concern that their young daughter might be hurt by others' perceptions when she grows up. Kim Seung-hyun lamented that if explanations become tiring, the public will eventually accept the falsehoods as truth. Jang Jung-yoon pleaded that even her own father is asking if things are difficult these days, indicating that even their acquaintances are falling for these short videos.
