Actor Lee Dong-gun is joining JTBC's variety show 'Divorce Preparation Camp' (hereinafter referred to as 'DiCamp') as a new MC, amid spreading controversy surrounding the departure of existing MC Jin Tae-hyun. JTBC announced that Lee Dong-gun will join the broadcast starting in July.

Jin Tae-hyun had been an MC for about two years since the pilot broadcast, anchoring the program alongside Seo Jang-hoon and Park Ha-sun. He was loved for his role as a helper, offering realistic advice and warm comfort to couples in crisis, but it is known that his departure was decided during a recent program reorganization.

Following the news of Jin Tae-hyun's departure, negative reactions from viewers poured in, and in particular, there is ongoing debate about Lee Dong-gun's casting. After the news of his departure, Jin Tae-hyun posted a handwritten letter on his social media, stating that he was informed of the production team's decision to have him leave through his manager and that he finished his last recording in early April before leaving the program. He expressed his regret, saying it was the filming he had approached with the most effort and sincerity in his 25-year career as an entertainer.
