K-Pop Group Lucy Announces 2nd Album Comeback

Band LUCY is making a comeback with their second full album, 'Childish,' set to be released on the 29th at 6 PM. This album marks the first full group release since member Shin Gwangil's return from military service, and it's their first new music in approximately 1 year and 8 months since their mini-album 'FROM.' The album continues the narrative from their first full album, 'Childhood,' exploring the process of finding one's pure childhood innocence while maintaining one's identity amidst a bleak reality, all expressed through LUCY's unique sensibility.

The second full album, 'Childish,' includes five new songs, including the title track 'G-Rated,' as well as 'Sprout,' 'Chameleon,' 'Porch Light (Feat. Nam Jaehyun),' and 'Long Story Short.' Additionally, songs from their sixth mini-album 'Shattered' and seventh mini-album 'Line,' re-recorded with Shin Gwangil's vocals in 'Childish ver.,' have been added, completing a rich tracklist of 15 songs.

The title track, 'G-Rated,' with lyrics, composition, and arrangement by member Cho Wonsang, features LUCY's signature energetic band sound and hopeful lyrics. The song expresses a desire not to grow up, comparing the things lost as one confronts the adult world, which differs from the world seen in childhood, to 'horns.' Set to a cheerful shuffle rhythm, it conveys the wish for life to always unfold like a comic book, 'G-Rated.'

The music video, released alongside the audio, depicts the four members' journey back to 'LUCY ISLAND,' which marked their beginning. LUCY plans to unfold a comic-like narrative following their musical journey over the past six years, from their debut song 'Flowering' to becoming a representative act of the K-band scene.

Cho Wonsang, who has produced all of LUCY's albums since their debut, participated as the main producer for this album. Shin Yechan, Choi Sangyeop, and Shin Gwangil also contributed to the lyrics and composition of the included tracks, solidifying their musical world.
