The tiger CG in the movie 'The Man Who Lived Like a King' has been revised and released on OTT platforms. The CG, which was criticized as awkward and unsophisticated during its theatrical release and nicknamed 'Bamttee Tiger,' has been significantly improved. The production company had previously announced that an improved version would be reflected when it was released on secondary rights platforms such as IPTV.

The improved version of 'The Man Who Lived Like a King' was simultaneously released on various OTT platforms, including the three major IPTV providers (Geni TV, B tv, U+tv), digital cable TV (Studio Choice), Wavve, and Coupang Play.

Surprisingly, some netizens have expressed regret over the tiger CG revision. Some commented, "The clumsy tiger has actually become a limited edition," while others, particularly those who had watched the movie multiple times, reacted with, "I've grown fond of it, so it's a shame." In addition to the improved tiger CG, the song 'Friend,' sung by actress Jeon Mi-do, who played the role of Mae Hwa, has been newly inserted into the end credits of this OTT version.

'The Man Who Lived Like a King' depicts the story of the young King Danjong, exiled to Cheongnyeongpo in Yeongwol-gun, Gangwon Province in 1457, and the village elder Uhm Heung-do. The film surpassed 16 million viewers and achieved cumulative revenue exceeding 150 billion won, making it the first domestic film to reach 150 billion won in revenue.
