Dok2 & Lee Hi: Debut Fan Love Confession

Rapper Dok2 revealed his relationship with singer Lee Hi, with whom he is publicly dating, and the process of their relationship. Appearing on the YouTube channel "Homeroom Show," Dok2 shared the behind-the-scenes story from his first meeting with Lee Hi to their development into a couple.

Dok2 stated that he first met Lee Hi around 2014-2015 through acquaintances, and they became close while working on music together, almost becoming a couple. However, he explained that he moved to Los Angeles (LA) due to deteriorating health at the time, and after that, the COVID-19 pandemic also occurred, causing them to naturally drift apart.

Afterward, the two reconnected at a concert in London after the pandemic ended. Dok2 confessed that he had been a huge fan of Lee Hi since her debut, and had thought about wanting to sing together.

Dok2 mentioned that it was difficult to start a relationship immediately due to the age difference, with himself being 36 and Lee Hi being 29, and the realistic challenges of a long-distance relationship. In this situation, he came up with the idea of working on music together, which he revealed also influenced the establishment of his independent label '808 Hi Recordings.'

Dok2 also added that around 2017-2018, when Lee Hi was under YG Entertainment, he had tried to recruit her to his label, Illionaire Records, but it fell through due to health issues.
