Uhm Ji-won suffered an ankle fracture on February 14, 2026, during an unexpected accident while traveling in Japan. At the time, she was told she wouldn't be able to walk for three months, but she did not lose hope and worked hard every day, achieving a miraculous recovery six weeks after surgery. The video shows her being transported to the hospital after the accident in Japan, undergoing surgery, and then going through rehabilitation. She was even seen waving her hand inside the ambulance to reassure her acquaintances.
