MC Mong Faces Second Allegation Amid Controversy

Singer MC Mong continued his additional revelations through a second live broadcast, once again mentioning the names of actor Kim Min-jong, Cha Jun-young (younger uncle of PiaK Group Chairman Cha Ga-won), and former Kim Ho-joong agency representative Mr. A. MC Mong claimed on a TikTok secondary account that Kim Min-jong and Cha Jun-young were "​looking for someone who would tell them what they know or make up stories about MC Mong, offering a large sum of money." He also accused them of fabricating lies with money and expressed his anger towards Cha Jun-young, saying, "​I don't want this kind of war. You hide all your wrongdoings." MC Mong claimed he called Mr. A ten days prior, but the call was recorded and sent to MBC's "PD Notebook," also alleging that they "​created an empire as gambling partners and spent money through illicit means."

In a previous live broadcast, MC Mong denied all allegations of illegal gambling, prostitution, and draft dodging, mentioning the existence of an illegal gambling group called 'Badugi' that included entertainment industry figures and naming several celebrities, including Kim Min-jong. In response, Kim Min-jong's side stated, "​We clearly state that the content currently being discussed about me is not true," and warned of a strong legal response, planning to pursue civil and criminal legal responsibility after verifying the facts.

Meanwhile, YouTuber KaraCool has filed a lawsuit against MC Mong for defamation and a civil suit seeking 100 million won in damages. KaraCool refuted MC Mong's claim in his live broadcast that he "​received 5 million won to delete a video about an affair," stating it was "​clearly false information" and that he "​never received any tips, produced or posted any videos, or exchanged money." KaraCool also criticized MC Mong, who is currently under police investigation for violating the Narcotics Control Act and the Medical Service Act, stating that it is a responsible attitude for a public figure to explain himself through legal proceedings rather than making revelations to the public.

In this second revelation broadcast, MC Mong apologized to Baekhyun and YouTuber KaraCool, whose names he had mentioned in the first broadcast. MC Mong corrected his statement about KaraCool, saying it was about YouTuber Gujeok, and apologized for causing misunderstanding. Regarding Baekhyun, he expressed his apology and affection, saying, "​He is such a good person that I don't even want to talk about him anymore." Previously, MC Mong caused controversy in his first broadcast by claiming that Cha Jun-young had invited Baekhyun to gamble and go to Las Vegas, even mentioning the scale of Baekhyun's album production costs. MC Mong drew a line, stating that there will be no further revelations after this broadcast.
